Sketch Up
The idea here is to use a program other than Photoshop. One called SketchUp a Google program and interconnected with Google products such as Google Earth. Examples of the type of sketch you can make with a
bit of practice are
below.
A Cottage and below Salisbury Cathedral.
The program is a free download but you must steer your way through to get it free.
The Free version is called “SketchUp Make”
I used Personal Projects as my choice on this page. Also I used Other to define my interests
. 
To use this wonderful software there is no better way than to watch the videos that can be seen on YouTube.

I made the Cottage above but not the Cathedral. Such models can bedownloaded from with the program and there is a huge range. You can also download
other things such as the Bench, the Table and the People.
It is possible to combine a SketchUp image in Photoshop Elements with other images. See an example below. This where your imagination needs to run riot.
I added normal photographs to the cottage. Maybe not the best combination.
Using SketchUp is nothing if not great fun and it could be useful if, say, you need to draw a new extension for your house. Check out http://sketchupisland.blogspot.co.uk/ and be amazed.
