Typology
If you check on the Internet to find out what Typology is you will find the following:-

This is not what this topic is about. After all, we are concerned with Photography and not skin care!
Delve a little more into the Wikipedia definition and it seems there are two types of Typology - namely
Qualitative and Quantitative.
However, this is concerned with Linguistics and not photography. It is indeed hard to pin down precisely what Typology in Photography is. I will try by arguing that photographic works by Becher and Becher show what I am striving to get at without needing words. Click HERE is one of their photographs of Pit Heads.

These have now vanished from the world more or less.
The Bechers used a huge plate camera to take their images. They travelled all over Germany and also Britain to gather these industrial items before they were demolished

One vital thing to mention about these images is that they were taken when the sky was overcast and grey. They were also strict about their subject being central and having a similar amount of foreground.
My problem with trying to emulate this concept is that around here there are no remaining Water Towers or Pit Heads or even Gas Holders.
Nevertheless, there are other subjects and so I set out to find some of these.
It transpires that there is an endless set of suitable subjects. Some are shown below.
Your task is to find yet other subjects and then take snaps of them according to the strict rules above.
Having done that then you need to process them and place them in a grid pattern.
To this end I used Fast Stone Viewer to change the size and general appearance.
I collected these in one spot.
Then by using Photoscape and the Combine module.
