Wickham Vineyards & Bishops Waltham

Sadly this event was on a wet day which cramped our style. In particular we did not visit Bishops Waltham Palace (EH) for the second time of trying. However this was made up for by a lovely visit to Wickham Vineyard where the owner told us what they do and how they did it plus wine tasting. They grow red and white grapes and the wine production is about 50/50 white to red now. They generally blend different grapes for their wines such as Fumé, Rosé, Medium and Red. we tried all these using the demonstrated method of tasting that involved mixing air with the wine in the mouth.

Later we drove to Bishops Waltham for a lunch at a place Frank knew and good it was too.
